Ayo Olowonihi

I hereby express profound appreciation to the FCCPC especially Mrs Rosemary Adedeji and her team for their diligent efforts in getting Star Plus Battery Metal Ltd, Abuja Office to replace the two Tubular batteries which exploded in January this year less than two months after purchase directly from them. The batteries have 24 months warranty and I promptly reported the explosion to the Company and demanded replacement.

The process was tortuous with the Manager of Star Plus Battery doing everything possible to evade responsibility even as spelt out by his company’s policy on warranty.
Upon my complaint to the FCCPC, a conciliation meeting was arranged between the parties. I like to put on record that FCCPC officers were highly professional and diligent in handling the matter.

Star Plus Battery Metal Ltd, Abuja Office finally released two Star Plus Tubular Batteries to me yesterday 27th June 2024, against the Manager’s promise to replace the batteries on 30th May 2024.
Again I thank the FCCPC for their intervention to enforce my rights under the law.
Thank you.
