Born in January 1970 in Fagge, Kano State, Nigeria, Hassan Abdulhamid Hassan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience spanning both public and private sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Administration, graduating in 1993 from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.

Hassan began his career in 1995 with Dala Construction and Supplies Ltd, gaining valuable experience before transitioning to public service in 1998 when he joined the National Commission for Refugees. His tenure there lasted until 2003, during which he developed expertise in humanitarian work and administrative functions. He later moved into the private sector, working with Intercellular Nigeria Plc from 2003 to 2012, demonstrating adaptability and leadership in corporate operations.

In 2012, Hassan returned to public service with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), formerly known as the Consumer Protection Council, where he continues to contribute to Nigeria's consumer rights and fair market practices.

Beyond his professional career, Hassan has held several leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as Chairman of the FCCPC branch of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (2014-2017), Secretary General of the Kano Science Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA) (2017-2020), and later as Ex-Officio (2020-2023), guiding the new executive committee. He remains actively engaged in alumni affairs, holding positions such as Public Relations Officer of KASSOSA Dawakin Kudu Class of 1988 (2015-present) and serving as Auditor from 1996 to 2015.

Hassan is happily married and a proud father of four children – three sons and a daughter. His unwavering commitment to public service, leadership, and community development exemplifies his dedication to Nigeria's progress and growth.
