Eme Eyo David-Ojugo

Eme Eyo David-Ojugo is the Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Nigeria.

She provides strategic leadership over merger review and competition assessments, ensuring compliance with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act. Formerly an Assistant Director in the Department of Legal Services, she has extensive experience in competition law, regulatory compliance, investigative enforcement, and policy development.

Eme has contributed to high-profile competition investigations, including matters resulting in significant administrative penalties, and has played a key role in inter-agency regulatory collaboration.

She represents Nigeria on the Consultative Competition Committee of the ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority (ERCA), supporting the development of harmonized regional competition policies
